Is it permissible for women to visit the grave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?

The Shaykh : It is not permissible for women to visit the grave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) because it is a grave. If her intention is to send greetings to him, that is achieved even if she is in the farthest part of the earth. If you say, “Peace be upon you, O Prophet,” Allah has appointed angels to carry your greeting to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and deliver it to him.
