The Shaykh : And as for the second hadith, the hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said:
In a believer adornment would reach the places where ablution reaches.
Sahih Muslim 250
: The adornment on the Day of Resurrection is with which men and women are adorned; men and women wear adornment of gold, silver, and pearls,
And they will be adorned with bracelets of silver
[Al-Insan 76:21]
,
They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearl
[Al-Hajj 22:23]
It must be arranged in a way that achieves beauty more and more, because adorning oneself with each of these types undoubtedly gives a person beauty. So if some of it is arranged together and ordered in a good way, it gives even more beauty.
On the Day of Resurrection, the adornment of the believer extends to where his wudu extends: So the entire arm will be full of adornment, full of adornment of gold, silver, and pearls. This indicates the virtue of wudu, where its locations on the Day of Resurrection are with which the person is adorned in Paradise. May Allah make me and you among its people.
And as for the third hadith: the hadith of Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him),
He who performed ablution well, his sins would come out
Sahih Muslim 245
: His sins come out from this wudu, even from under his fingernails. And on this basis, wudu is a cause for the expiation of sins, even from the most delicate place, which is under the fingernails. These hadiths and their like indicate that wudu is among the best acts of worship, and that it is an act of worship for which a person should intend to draw near to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). That is, he should be mindful while performing wudu that he is drawing near to Allah, just as when he prays, he feels that he is drawing near to Allah, and so when he performs wudu, he feels that he is obeying the command of Allah in His saying:
When you stand up for prayer, wash your faces
He also feels that he is following the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) in his wudu. And he also keeps in mind that he wants the reward, and that he will be rewarded for this deed, so that he perfects it and does it well. And Allah is the One who grants success.
