Continuation of the explanation of the author's statement: "And he said: (May Allah curse the Jews who took the graves of their prophets as mosques)."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
He said, may Allah have mercy on him: "Chapter on the permissibility of cursing the perpetrators of sins who are not specifically identified
It is established in the authentic collections that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Allah cursed the Jews for they took the graves of their prophets as places for worship. لعن الله اليهود اتخذوا قبور أنبيائهم مساجد
Sahih al-Bukhari 4441

And he cursed the men who imitate women and the women who imitate men. All these phrases are in the authentic collections, some in the authentic collections of al-Bukhari and Muslim, and some in one of them. I intended to be concise by referring to them, and I will mention most of them in their respective chapters of this book, if Allah wills."

The Shaykh : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
The author, may Allah have mercy on him, mentioned the remaining categories for which it is permissible to make a general supplication of curse, including the curse in the statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
May Allah curse the Jews and Christians, for they took the graves of their Prophets as places of worship. لعنة الله على اليهود والنصارى اتخذوا قبور أنبيائهم مساجد
Sunan an-Nasa'i 703Sahih (Darussalam)

The Jews are the followers of Moses, and the Christians are the followers of Jesus. However, after the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) was sent and they knew of him but did not believe in him, their ruling was the same in that they are those upon whom the anger of Allah is, because they abandoned the truth while knowing it, refuge is sought in Allah.
And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) explained the reason for his cursing of them in his statement:
take the graves of their prophets as Masjids اتخذوا قبور أنبيائهم مساجد
Sunan an-Nasa'i 2046Sahih (Darussalam)
This is an action of theirs, so he is cursed by the tongue of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), whether he is a Jew, a Christian, or someone who claims to be a Muslim. He is cursed by the tongue of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). And if a mosque is built over a grave, even if a person prays in it for Allah the Exalted and Mighty, not for the owner of the grave, his prayer is invalid and forbidden, and he must repeat it. And this mosque that was built must be demolished, and it is not permissible to pray in it.
As for if the mosque was already standing and then one of the righteous, or one of the princes, or one of the ministers, or one of the leaders was buried in it, it is obligatory to dig up the grave and bury the person in the place where people are buried. It is not permissible to leave it there, because mosques were not built to bury people in them; they were built for prayer, the remembrance of Allah, and the recitation of the Qur'an.
And if we are in doubt whether the grave was built first and then the mosque was built over it, or the dead person was buried first and then the mosque was built over him, the precaution is that a person should not pray in it and should stay away from it, lest his prayer be exposed to danger.
If someone asks, what is the answer to this hadith regarding the story of the grave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), which is now in the mosque?
The answer is to say that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) was not buried in the mosque, but rather in his house. The mosque was not built over it; rather, the mosque was standing from the beginning. However, they needed to expand it, so they expanded it from this side, meaning the side to the left of the person facing the qiblah. And it seems, and Allah knows best, that at that time they did not find a place other than this, so they expanded from that direction. The grave remained in a separate enclosure in the house, separated from the mosque by a wall. Then, when Allah the Exalted and Mighty willed, He sent two men who wanted to extract the body of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to burn it or put it in a museum, or we do not know. This is because one of the caliphs was visited by a man in the night who said to him, "Hurry, hurry to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) from the two smaller men. Hurry to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) from the two smaller men," meaning there was a twinkle in their eyes. He came to him once, twice, and three times, and the caliph was alarmed. Then he left his city for Medina in haste. When he arrived in Medina, he ordered a feast to be prepared, a great feast of food, and said to the governor of Medina, "Invite all the people of Medina for me." He invited them, and this caliph was looking at the attendees but did not find the description that had been mentioned to him in the dream. Then he ordered them to be invited a second and third time, but he did not see the two men. He said to his governor of Medina, "Why did you not invite the people of Medina?" He said, "I invited them all; no one is left except two strangers in the mosque since they arrived, and they are in i'tikaf in the mosque." He said, "Bring them." They were brought, and when they were brought, they matched the description that had been told to him in the dream. He ordered an investigation into their work, and it was found that at night they were digging a trench from below the ground, and they were close to the grave. He ordered their execution. Then he ordered the grave to be dug on its sides until it reached the mountain, and then it was filled with lead and three walls were built over it. So the grave became completely separate from the mosque; it is not in the mosque, and the mosque was not built over it. This is the answer to what the people of shirk and the people of graves compare it to, regarding the grave of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
As for the last category, the author, may Allah have mercy on him, said that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the men who imitate women and the women who imitate men. Imitation occurs through words, actions, appearances, and clothing. You will find a man imitating a woman in her voice, mimicking a woman's voice and speaking as if he were a woman. This is cursed by the tongue of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
He imitates a woman in her clothing, wearing clothes that only women wear. This includes putting a wig on his head as if he were a woman.
And among that is also wearing women's specific watches, because women have specific watches and men have specific watches, so the man wears the woman's watch.
As for appearance, it is when he does makeup and wears perfume, and when he walks, he walks as if he were a woman. This is also cursed by the tongue of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). So the important point is that a man imitating a woman is one of the major sins, and a woman imitating a man is likewise one of the major sins. This is by imitating him in speech, speaking as men speak with a loud voice and tone, or by shaving her head like a man's head so that it rises above the shoulders, or by wearing men's watches and clothes. All of this is among the major sins. And if a woman does this, she is cursed by the tongue of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family).
But if we see a specific man imitating a woman, do we say, "May Allah curse you"? No, we do not say, "May Allah curse you." We admonish him and say, "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed the men who imitate women," and likewise for the woman. Because cursing a specific person is not permissible, even if he is a disbeliever, so how much less if he is an open sinner; it is not permissible to curse him. But you say, "Whoever among the men imitates women is cursed, and whoever among the women imitates men is cursed," in this general manner. And success is from Allah.
