The Shaykh's response to those who asked him to complete his projects and scientific research, such as *Tammam al-Mannah* and *Sahih al-Sirah al-Nabawiyyah*, and to edit a book on tafsir.

The student : May Allah reward you with good. This is a hope from one of the brothers, who says: We would like our honorable Shaykh to complete his projects and scientific research, such as *Tammam al-Mannah* and *Sahih al-Sirah al-Nabawiyyah*. Then he mentioned *Mishkat al-Masabih*, so we do not know if he returned to it.
Another student: It was said that he did not complete it.
The student : And that he should edit and annotate for us a book on tafsir and the occasions of revelation of the verses. This is a hope, if Allah wills, I mean.

The Shaykh : May Allah fulfill the hope. We say on this occasion: Support us with your support.
The student : Support, support, support, support, O Umm Hashim.

The Shaykh : And by "support" here, I refer to his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): . So you should pray for us so that we may fulfill such a hope and more than that. But our reality, and praise be to Allah, is that we are proceeding with editing many, many projects. However, as it was said and as we said earlier, regarding knowledge: "If you seek it, it is much, and life is short for acquiring it, so prioritize the most important of it, then the next most important." And we try to aim for the target and approximate, presenting the most important, then the next most important. And this, without a doubt, its evaluation does not return to Zayd, Bakr, or 'Umar, because the matter becomes mixed up then, and "pleasing people is a goal that cannot be reached." Rather, this matter concerns only the one in charge of it. So it is sufficient for you to pray for us to fulfill the hope, and praise be to Allah.
The student : In truth, I was referring to this matter in my speech that I mentioned earlier, and I said that our Shaykh (may Allah preserve him) is busy completing his projects. And that meeting and gathering with him is what we are most eager for. But his preoccupation with these projects, these books, and these edits is a matter that requires full dedication. So he does us a great favor when he accepts the invitation of one of the brothers to meet him in this invitation and speaks to us as a teacher speaks to his students. So may Allah reward him with good.
