If blood comes from the nose of the one praying, what is the ruling?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: A woman asks: What is the ruling if blood comes from a person's nose while he is praying?

A: If it is a small amount, it is excused, and he removes it with a handkerchief or the like. If it is a large amount, he breaks off the prayer and cleans himself from it, and it is prescribed for him to renew his ablution, in order to avoid the disagreement among scholars. Then he resumes the prayer from the beginning, just as if he had broken his state of purity during the prayer by something agreed upon, such as passing wind or urinating; in that case, he breaks off the prayer, then performs ablution and repeats the prayer.
And success is from Allah.
