The Ruling on the Opening Supplication in Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: The brother A. A. M. from Algeria says in his question: Some of the imams of the mosques in Ramadan do not recite the opening supplication in the tarawih prayer. What is the ruling on their doing this? May Allah reward you.

A: The opening supplication is a recommended practice (sunnah) in both the obligatory and voluntary prayers, and if one leaves it out, he owes nothing. And success is from Allah.
