Making up the regular voluntary prayers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: (A. N. T) Is it permissible to make up the regular voluntary prayers after their times have passed, or are they dropped? Please advise us, may Allah reward you with good.

A: They are dropped if their time passes, except for the sunnah of Fajr, which is made up after the prayer or after the sun rises. This is because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his Companions made it up with the Fajr prayer when they slept through the Fajr prayer on some of his journeys. Also, because he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the one who missed the sunnah of Fajr to make it up after the sun rises. And because he (peace and blessings be upon him) saw someone making it up after the Fajr prayer and did not forbid him from doing so.
Likewise, regarding the regular voluntary prayer of Zuhr: if the first one is missed, it is made up after the Zuhr prayer along with the post-prayer regular voluntary prayer. This is because when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) missed it, he made it up after the prayer. And success is from Allah.
