Continuation of the explanation of the author's statement: "And he is the one who disbelieves after his Islam"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And let it be known that apostasy occurs through belief, through speech, through action, and through omission. Apostasy occurs through belief, through speech, through action, and through omission. These are four types of apostasy. Through belief, such as believing in what necessitates disbelief while outwardly appearing to be a Muslim, like the state of the hypocrites. It occurs through speech, such as mocking Allah (Mighty and Majestic) or disparaging Him or His religion or the like. It occurs through action, such as prostrating to an idol. And it occurs through omission, such as leaving the prayer, for example, or leaving the judgment by other than what Allah has revealed, out of aversion to it. Now, aversion to what Allah has revealed—of which type is it?

The questioner : It was said that it is major shirk.

The Shaykh : It is major shirk, but of which of the four types?

The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : It falls under the action of the heart, because aversion is an action of the heart, so it is an action.

The questioner : And doubt, O Shaykh...

The Shaykh : Yes? That is a belief, because doubt contradicts the obligatory belief of certainty.
