A group among us says that Allah is in every place by His essence

The questioner : The questioner, Salem Salim from northern Sinai, says: We have a group that says that Allah is in every place by His essence, and we tell them that is not the case; that Allah is in the sky. We tell them: [Taha 20:5], but they are not convinced by our statement and are insistent on what they are upon. The question: Are they disbelievers? And does it apply to those who follow them while they are in ignorance, or what is said about them? And I have read in some books that the Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: "If I were to say your statement, I would be a disbeliever, but you are not disbelievers in my view because you are ignorant". So what is the correct statement regarding these people? May you be rewarded.
The Shaykh : The correct statement regarding these people is as the Shaykh al-Islam (may Allah have mercy on him) said: if they are ignorant, then they are not disbelievers.
And as for if they are knowledgeable that Allah is in the sky, but they are arrogant and refuse to say anything other than that He is on the earth, then they are disbelievers. It is not hidden that this statement necessitates consequences that are very, very invalid, because if you say that Allah is in every place:
It necessitates that He is in the bathrooms, refuge from Allah, and in the wastelands, latrines, and filthy places. And who describes his Lord with this?!
A believer can never describe his Lord with this.
And as for what is found from some people in this matter, it is obligatory to argue with what is best, as Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said:[An-Nahl 16:125].
