Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is the prostration for forgetfulness before the closing salam or after the closing salam?

Answer:
It is better to perform it before the closing salam in all cases, except for what is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ... such as when he saluted due to missing a rak'ah or more, in which case it is better to perform it after the closing salam. Likewise, if one builds his prayer on the majority of his opinion, as in the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud: if he builds on the majority of his opinion and seeks the truth, he completes the prayer, then salutes, then prostrates for forgetfulness after the closing salam.

The first is: if he salutes due to ... or more, it is better to perform it after the closing salam.
The second case is: if he builds on the majority of his opinion, as in the hadith of Ibn Mas'ud ... if he seeks the truth, he completes the prayer for him, then salutes, then prostrates two prostrations ...
