Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner: The first message in this episode is from listener Mu'awwad Uthman. The brother Mu'awwad says: Please tell us about the hadith attributed to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) which says
What is between my grave and my pulpit is a garden from the gardens of Paradiseما بين قبري ومنبري روضة من رياض الجنة
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29:21
Is this a hadith, or is it fabricated? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance. As for what follows:
This hadith is authentic, and its wording is: he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The area between my house and my Minbar is one of the gardens of Paradise.ما بين بيتي ومنبري روضة من رياض الجنة
Sunan an-Nasa'i 695Sahih (Darussalam)
But some narrators reported it with the wording
My graveقبري
because his grave became in his house (peace and blessings be upon him), so they reported it by meaning
What is between my grave and my pulpitما بين قبري ومنبري
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 29:21
Otherwise, the wording of the original hadith is:
The area between my house and my Minbar is one of the gardens of Paradise.ما بين بيتي ومنبري روضة من رياض الجنة
Sunan an-Nasa'i 695Sahih (Darussalam)
This indicates the virtue of the area between his house and his pulpit, and that it is a blessed area. It should be recognized for its status by praying in it, making supplication in it, and the like; because it is a garden with its own honor. Therefore, it is recommended for whoever visits the mosque to pray in it, because it is a blessed garden. This is the matter of this hadith. It is recommended for whoever visits the mosque to pray in it, and there is no harm in sitting in it for reading and supplication, as long as it does not crowd the people or make it difficult for those who want to pray in it as he does. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good! In reality, Your Eminence, many people strive, as you mentioned (may Allah preserve you), to remain in this blessed area, and they sit to read the Noble Quran for hours. What is the guidance of Your Eminence?

The Shaykh : We advise that if it is in .... he should pray, no, he should not sit in it, he should pray and walk, he should go to another place to make room for the people who want to do what he did, which is to pray in it.
Also, he should not pray in it during the times of obligatory prayers, but rather he should go to the first row and complete the rows, and not pray in it and leave the first row, or the second row, no, but he must complete the first row, then the first, even if it is outside the garden. He should not sit in it, but he must be concerned with completing the first row, then the first.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good. So, do you advise those who sit to read the Noble Quran in the Noble Garden to move to another area?

The Shaykh : It is not permissible for them if they prevent someone, or make it difficult for someone, it is not permissible for them, they should sit in another place, yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
