The Ruling on Praying the Night Prayer in Congregation and Making It a Habit

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is praying the night prayer in congregation prescribed, and what is the ruling on making it a habit? May Allah guide you.

Answer:
Praying the night prayer in congregation is permissible, but it is not prescribed to make it a habit, except for the tarawih prayers in Ramadan. As for the rest of the year, if it happens occasionally without making it a custom, there is no harm in it. For example, if one prays with his family, or visits a group of people and prays with them in congregation, that is permissible. However, if they make it a custom and a regular practice, there is no basis for that. Yes.
