The ruling on the imam supplicating for the congregation while instructing them to straighten the rows

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is it in the Sunnah when the imam tells the congregation to straighten their rows in prayer, saying: "Straighten up, stand evenly, may Allah have mercy on me and on you"?

Answer:
We are not aware of any harm in this if he supplicates for them; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to order them to straighten up, order them to align the rows, and order them to fill in the gaps. And if he supplicates, I am not aware of any harm in this. If he says: "May Allah forgive us and you," or "May Allah have mercy on us and you," I am not aware of any harm in this, if Allah wills. Yes.

The presenter : Praise be to Allah. May Allah reward you with good.
