Expiation for one who used to expose her face and hair to non-mahrams

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The listener (M. A. Z.) from Libya sent a message saying: I have been wearing the hijab since I was thirteen years old, but my problem is that I used to expose my face and hair in front of my sister’s husband, my cousins, and my maternal cousins. I did this out of ignorance, and no one alerted me that it was forbidden. When I learned of this, I covered myself from them. I am now seventeen years old and I regret it greatly. Do I have to pay an expiation? Or what should I do? Please guide us. May Allah reward you with all good.
Answer: You have nothing to do but repent, and praise be to Allah. Repentance is regretting the past and making a sincere resolve not to return to it, and praise be to Allah. May Allah reward you with good. Repentance is sufficient; it erases what came before it.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
