The Ruling on the Order of Ablution

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our sister says in another case: I performed ablution, and I performed one part before another, meaning: I washed my hands before my face, and I did so without knowing whether that was valid or not. What is the ruling on my ablution? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Ablution is not valid except with the correct order: the face, then the hands, then the head, then the feet. This is the ablution prescribed by the Shari'ah. So the prayers you prayed with this invalid ablution, you must repeat them if you know which ones they were. Otherwise, based on your estimate and effort, repeat the prayers you think you prayed with this, along with repentance and seeking forgiveness. And because you did not ask and did not learn what is obligatory, you must learn and ask, even by telephone. Ask the scholars by telephone, by phone, by correspondence... Ask the scholars near you if there is anyone who knows. Do not remain silent. It is obligatory to ask. Allah the Exalted says:
So ask the people of the message if you do not know.فَاسْأَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّكْرِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ لا تَعْلَمُونَ
[Surah al-Nahl: 43]. And it is narrated from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
Why did they not ask when they did not know? Indeed, the cure for ignorance is asking.ألا سألوا إذ لم يعلموا، إنما شفاء العي السؤال
Sunan al-Bayhaqi 1:995
.
So it is obligatory for the man and the woman that each one, every Muslim, asks about what is difficult for him, about what is important to him in his religion. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
