Ruling on the prayer of one whose belly is exposed

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The prayer was established in the Haram while I was outside the Haram. I spread out my ihram cloak and prayed on it, with my izar covering my body from the navel and below. My belly was exposed. Is my prayer valid?

Answer:
First: It is not permissible for you to pray alone behind the rows, nor behind the rows, but you must be with the row. If you formed a row by yourself, then the matter you mentioned regarding making the cloak your place of prayer is considered. As for your prayer in the izar, the majority hold that your prayer is valid, and they are content with what is between the navel and the knee. Some scholars have held that it is not valid, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
No one of you should pray in a single garment with no part of it on his shoulder.لا يصلي أحد في الثوب الواحد ليس على عاتقه منه شيء
Sunan an-Nasa'i 769Sahih (Darussalam)
It is agreed upon as authentic. You did not place anything on your shoulders, but rather made it your place of prayer.
Therefore, you should repeat this prayer. Do not rush in matters. Seek a place in which to pray, with your cloak on you. If the prayer time passes, pray it afterwards alone, or with whoever is available from the people. Do not rush, for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
No one should pray in a single garment with nothing of it on his shoulder, and in another wording: with nothing of it on his two shouldersلا يصلي أحد في الثوب الواحد ليس على عاتقه منه شيء، وفي لفظ: ليس على عاتقيه منه شيء
And this cloak is what is on your shoulders. Repeating this prayer is more cautious and better for you.
