Continuing in advice and guidance is a form of cooperation in righteousness and piety

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A nineteen-year-old girl who is holding fast to the commands of Allah , such as fasting, prayer, and a hijab that covers her, has a sincere relationship of love with one of her sisters, but she notices in her some faults, such as not paying attention to the hijab and the like. Should she continue her friendship with her, or should she cut ties with her?

Answer:
She should continue with advice and guidance, encouraging her to wear the hijab, so that perhaps Allah will guide her through her. If she becomes desperate regarding her and sees no benefit in this advice, she should cut ties with her so that she is not associated with her, and so that she does not approve of what is wrong. However, as long as she is able to influence her through advice and guidance, or she recommends someone who can influence her, that is a form of cooperation in righteousness and piety.
