Your Eminence! We received this message from the sender, Mufattah Khalid, from South Yemen. She has some questions. In her first question, she says: Is it forbidden if I enter the bathroom and I have on my finger a ring or a band with the name of Allah or something similar written on it? Please inform us, may Allah guide you.
Answer: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and blessings and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance.
As for what follows:
It was reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Therefore, the best course for a man or a woman when entering the bathroom, if they are wearing a ring with the remembrance of Allah on it, is to leave it outside the bathroom and not enter with it, if that is possible. If one fears it will be lost, there is no harm in entering the bathroom with it; because there is a defect in the hadith, and some scholars do not authenticate it. However, if it is possible to act in accordance with it, that is preferable. If a person fears that his ring will be stolen or that he will forget it, he may enter with it, and there is no blame on him, if Allah wills. Yes.

That he used to remove his ring when he entered the place of relief, and it was written on it: Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah
أنه كان إذا دخل الخلاء وضع خاتمه ، وكان مكتوباً عليه: محمد رسول الله
