Is it permissible to enter the bathroom with something containing the remembrance of Allah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah guide you and us, esteemed Shaykh: The medal that some owners of institutions have; I saw one that had "Abd al-Rahman" on it. Its owner told me that he enters the restroom with it, may Allah honor you. He said: "Abd al-Rahman, the whole person, enters the restroom."

The Shaykh : Ah?

The questioner : Abd al-Rahman, the very person named Abd al-Rahman, enters the restroom in his entirety. And the other matter is writing His name, the Exalted, on papers that may fall in the street and be trampled by people. Is there anything with His name, the Exalted, on it?

The Shaykh : First: His statement that everyone is Abd al-Rahman is correct. But is your name Abd al-Rahman? Are you in the state of the writing of "Abd al-Rahman"? Tell him this argument is not your head and legs, and you are not defined by diacritical marks or grammatical inflection. It is a baseless argument, and there is no issue. He himself does not believe it is a valid argument. However, there is no doubt that it is better not to enter with it. But the common practice is that medals are hidden, and what is hidden does not cause harm. This is one point.
