Is it permissible for my maternal uncle to marry my wife if I divorce her?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Also, Salman Muhammad al-Sulami from al-Kharj asks: Is it permissible for my maternal uncle to marry my wife if I divorce her?
Answer: Just as your brother may marry your wife if you divorce her or if she dies, so too may your maternal uncle, and he is even more eligible, for the maternal uncle is more distant than the brother. The wife of the maternal uncle, the wife of the sister’s son, and the wife of the brother’s son are all lawful. If a man dies, it is permissible for his maternal uncle, paternal uncle, and brother to marry his wife. Likewise, if he divorces her and she completes her waiting period, it is permissible for his maternal uncle, paternal uncle, and brother to marry her, provided there is nothing between them that would make marriage forbidden, such as milk kinship or the like.
