The ruling on maintaining family ties if fitnah is feared from them

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The question: His second question asks: Is it permissible to continue visiting relatives who have women who are uncovered?
The answer: As for visiting relatives, this is part of maintaining family ties, but on the condition that there is no fitnah or harm in doing so. If the women do not cover themselves, he is between two options: either he visits them, enjoins what is right, forbids what is wrong, and teaches them that this is not permissible and that they must cover themselves and wear the hijab. If they do so, praise be to Allah, for maintaining family ties and removing the wrong has been achieved through that.
However, if his visit results in seeing the women and taking pleasure in them, this is not permissible. Or if he enjoins them to do what is right but they do not comply and do not care, likewise, he should not visit them, because this may cause fitnah for him and evil for him. But he should be kind to them in another way, with money if they are poor, with advice even by writing, even by telephone, or by advising their brothers, their father, their grandfather, or their uncles to give the obligatory advice; because his presence with them and his seeing them may result in evil and fitnah. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good and benefit us with your knowledge.
