Ruling on attending the Friday prayer for a farm guard

S) from the Arab Republic of Egypt says: I work inside the Kingdom on a farm, and I pray all my times on the farm, but I do not pray the Friday prayer in the mosque; because at that time I am at work, and the owner of the farm does not allow me to leave the farm, and the mosque is about a kilometer and a half away from me. So what is your guidance?

Answer:
As for the Friday prayer, you must pray the Friday prayer, and it is not permissible for your employer to prevent you from the Friday prayer unless there is danger to the wealth in your care, and you are its guard, for guarding is an excuse. But if you are able to pray and there is no danger to what is under your hand, then you ... pray the Friday prayer, because the distance mentioned does not prevent hearing the call to prayer. Likewise, the five daily prayers: you must pray them in congregation, unless you are a guard over wealth that you fear for if you leave, in which case you are in the ruling of the excused guard.
