Ruling on the worker praying the obligatory prayers in the farm

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The listener Sa'd Hasan, an Egyptian working in the Kingdom, sent two questions. In the first, he says: I work in a farm in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom, and I work in the farm all the time. I pray the obligatory prayers inside the farm, but when Friday comes and I ask my sponsor for permission, he does not allow me. How do you advise me? May Allah reward you with good.
Answer: If you are near the mosque and you hear the call to prayer, you must pray in the mosque. However, if you are far away and do not hear the call, there is no blame on you for praying in the farm, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Whoever hears the call to prayer and does not come, there is no prayer for him except one who has an excuse. It was said to Ibn Abbas: What is the excuse? He said: Fear or illness.من سمع النداء فلم يأت فلا صلاة له إلا من عذر، قيل لـابن عباس: ما هو العذر؟ قال: خوف أو مرض
. Also, because a blind man came to him (peace and blessings be upon him) and said:
O Messenger of Allah! I have no guide to lead me to the mosque. Do I have a dispensation to pray in my house? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Do you hear the call to prayer? He said: Yes. He said: Then respond.يا رسول الله! ليس لي قائد يقودني إلى المسجد، فهل لي من رخصة أن أصلي فيي بيتي؟ فقال له النبي ﷺ: هل تسمع النداء بالصلاة؟ قال: نعم، قال: فأجب
. This blind man had no guide, yet the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to respond to the mu'adhdhin and to attend the congregation.
So it is with workers in farms, in construction, and in other places: it is obligatory for them to pray in congregation in the mosques if they are near the mosques and can hear the call. Otherwise, they should pray in congregation at their location. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
