The obligation of one who is followed by one or two people in prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He says: If I enter the congregation with one of the worshippers, and another enters with us, and then another enters, we hope that Your Eminence the Shaykh will provide the correct information regarding what the imam and the worshippers should do in this situation?

Answer:
If a worshipper is praying alone, and then a person comes and stands in a row with him, placing him on his right, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did with Ibn Abbas and others, then if a second person comes, he becomes the third of them, so he places them behind him, and they become behind him. Likewise, if a third person comes, he places all of them behind him. For this reason, when Ibn Abbas came and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying at night, he stood on his left; the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed him on his right. It is also established from the hadith of Anas that he (peace and blessings be upon him) visited them and prayed in the house, and he placed Anas on his right. It is also established from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that he used to pray alone, so Jabir—and Jabir was from the Ansar—came and stood in a row with him, so he placed them behind him (peace and blessings be upon him). This is the Sunnah. Yes.
