The Ruling on Collective Dhikr After the Obligatory Prayers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our custom is that when we pray in congregation with the imam, and after the congregational prayer, we all remember Allah together. Is this correct? And is dhikr in a group better, or is it better for each person to do it individually?

Answer:
It is not correct; rather, this is a religious innovation (bid'ah). Each person should remember Allah to himself. As for remembering Allah collectively with one voice, this is among the innovations. And each person, when he says the closing salam, should remember Allah to himself. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
