What is the ruling on collective dhikr after the prayers?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I am a young man who was employed as the imam of a mosque in our country, and the people of that mosque follow the Hanafi school of jurisprudence. So in Ramadan, they pray witr as three consecutive rak'ahs with two tashahhuds, like the Maghrib prayer. Should I pray with them? Also, their practice is to perform collective dhikr of sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) after every two rak'ahs?

Answer:
Answer: This collective dhikr is a religious innovation. The collective dhikr between the taslims of tarawih is a religious innovation. Do not agree with them on it; but explain to them with gentleness and softness that this is not permissible, and that you are seeking reward. Explain to them with wisdom and good admonition. As for the issue of witr, this is a matter of independent legal reasoning (ijtihad) that does not involve contradiction. It is a matter of independent legal reasoning where it does no harm if you combine the three rak'ahs with one taslim; there is nothing wrong with that, or with two taslims, which is better.
