From the Shaykh’s words regarding supporting Iraq against the countries of disbelief

The Shaykh : The trained and experienced military forces, skilled in combat with modern weapons, are suitable for this aggression against these countries. They should take the initiative to join Iraq in fighting the disbelievers, whose intention has become clear: to crush the Iraqi people and eliminate them. This ruling I have arrived at now relates to that jurisprudential issue I mentioned at the beginning of this speech, when I said: I will speak to you about a hadith and a jurisprudential issue. The hadith is: Now Iraq is oppressed. Previously, it was the oppressor of the two Kuwaitis, but now it has become oppressed by the countries of disbelief; I do not know their number.
