about the hadith (and regarding Iraq)?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If someone says regarding this hadith... there is a narration in the History of Baghdad that says the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) made a supplication for the people of Sham, the Hijaz, and Yemen, and there was an Iraqi man behind him who said, "And Iraq," so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent three times, meaning he repeated "Iraq" to him. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called out to him and said:
Are you an Iraqi? أنت عراقي ؟
He said: Yes. He said: The reason I hesitated is that the meaning of the hadith is that I was not allowed to make a supplication for the people of Iraq, because Ibrahim (peace be upon him) used to curse them, so Allah revealed to him what he was cursing them with... Second, regarding the guess, this would be a guess.

The Shaykh : Which one?

The questioner : Regarding the statement "and they guessed" in the third instance, there are earthquakes and trials...

The Shaykh : Yes, his statement "I guess" in the third instance means: did he say it in the second or the third instance? What is the guess? When he said "guess," was it in the second or the third instance?

The questioner : Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that everything that has been transmitted regarding the condemnation of Iraq is not authentic.

The Shaykh : It is not Muslim. I say it is not Muslim, and the hadiths are clear in this regard, and the trials appeared from Iraq: the Khawarij, and other than the Khawarij, all the trials were in Iraq: 'Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him), al-Husayn, and others, all of them were in Iraq.
