Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The listener Muhammad Najeeb Mahbub from Makkah al-Mukarramah sent a message containing a number of questions. In one of them, he says: “Last year, I performed the obligatory Hajj for myself. Then, in the following year, I performed 'Umrah in Ramadan on behalf of my grandmother, and in that same year, I also performed Hajj on her behalf. I did not perform an 'Umrah for her after the end of Hajj. Is what I did valid regarding the Hajj on her behalf?”

Answer:
It is all good. May Allah reward you with good. This is an act of dutifulness and maintaining family ties. May Allah reward you with good. 'Umrah in Ramadan is good, and Hajj is likewise. There is no need for an 'Umrah after Ramadan, nor after Hajj. The 'Umrah in Ramadan is sufficient for her, and praise be to Allah. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
