The ruling on one who finds graves while building his house

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
We move on to the questioner from Jazan, the questioner (H. S. A), who says: He wrote the truth in his own style, saying: I submit my problem to you, which is that I expanded the construction of my house, and while digging the foundation on the fourth side of the house, after the other sides had been established, I found graves. At that point, I went to the elderly people among us and asked them about that place, whether they knew that there were graves there? They said: We do not know that place except that it contains an old dwelling and a livestock pen. When I learned of this news, I took the soil and bones that were in it and buried them in a cemetery. It is known that the place where I found the graves was a spot for parking cars, and there were no markers for the graves, and it is about two kilometers away from my house. So, is there a sin on me for moving the graves, and if there is a sin on me, what should I do? Since I incurred costs in moving the building materials and lost approximately twenty thousand, so give us a ruling, may Allah reward you.

Answer:
You must write to us and clarify the location of the graves, and the court to which your location belongs, so that we can write to the court and look into the matter, if Allah wills, or you contact the court, and the court writes to us about it so that the matter is looked into with knowledge, yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
