The wife's grandmothers are mahram to the husband

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner also asks in her questions: Is it true that my maternal grandmother, my mother's mother, is a mahram to my husband, so that she can travel with him, and likewise my paternal grandmother, my father's mother?

Answer:
Yes, your mother and all your grandmothers are mahram to your husband; because Allah said regarding the prohibited women:
and the mothers of your wivesوَأُمَّهَاتُ نِسَائِكُمْ
[Al-Nisa: 23] The grandmother is like a mother to the women, the woman's mother, and her grandmothers from the side of her father or her mother, all of them are mahram to the husband. Likewise, her daughters from a previous husband; her daughters from a previous husband are mahram to her current husband, if he has entered into marital relations with her, if he has had intercourse with her. So all her daughters from her previous husbands are mahram to her new husband if he has entered into marital relations with them, if he has had intercourse with her; due to His saying -Exalted and Majestic is He-:
your step-daughters under your guardianship [born] of your wives unto whom you have gone inوَرَبَائِبُكُمُ اللَّاتِي فِي حُجُورِكُمْ مِنْ نِسَائِكُمُ اللَّاتِي دَخَلْتُمْ بِهِنَّ
[Al-Nisa: 23] meaning: with whom you have had intercourse. And His saying:
in your careفِي حُجُورِكُمْ
[Al-Nisa: 23] This is a descriptive attribute, not a condition, even if she was not in his care. Yes.
