Question:
In the final questions from this questioner, an Egyptian resident in Riyadh, he says: Your Eminence, the Shaykh! I went from Riyadh to perform 'Umrah, and praise be to Allah, I performed it as it should be. Then I took off my ihram clothes, and on the second day I went to the Mus'ana Mosque in Tan'im so that I could enter ihram from there and intend an 'Umrah for my deceased mother. I actually intended the 'Umrah and dedicated it to my mother. Is this 'Umrah valid? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
There is no harm, if Allah wills, due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
An Umra is an expiation for the sins committed between it and the nextالعمرة إلى العمرة كفارة لما بينهما
Sahih Muslim 1349a
He did not specify a certain number of days between them, so the hadith is general. If a person performs 'Umrah for himself, finishes his 'Umrah, then goes to Tan'im and performs 'Umrah for his deceased father, or for an elderly person who is unable to do so, or for his mother, or for other deceased persons, or for those who are unable due to old age, there is nothing wrong with it.
But if it is crowded, like the days of Hajj, it is better to be content with one 'Umrah, so as to make things easier for people and not burden them. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
