Question:
This questioner, Abdulrahman from the Prophet's City, we have reviewed one of his questions, and he has two questions remaining. He says: It is established from the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: And the question, Your Eminence: Is it a condition for this prayer to go out, specifically from the home with the intention of praying in Quba' to obtain the reward of 'Umrah? Or does any prayer that suffices count? For example: If I pray Jumu'ah in Quba', will I have the reward of 'Umrah, if Allah wills?
Answer:
It is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "That he used to visit Quba' every Saturday, riding and walking" - (peace and blessings be upon him) - and he said - (peace and blessings be upon him) - :Sunan Ibn Majah 1412Hasan (Darussalam) This virtue was mentioned for the one who purifies himself from his home and goes out intending to pray in Quba'; he obtains this reward.
As for the one who prays in it as usual without intending from his home; he has a reward, and he has great good, but the mentioned condition is not fulfilled in his case. Rather, this is obtained by the one who purifies himself in his home and goes out from his home intending to pray in the Mosque of Quba', as the Prophet used to do, (peace and blessings be upon him).
As for praying in it without intending from the home, but rather passing by and praying in it, or being one of its neighbors and praying the obligatory prayers in it; great good is hoped for him; but what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said is not fulfilled in his case except with the conditions he stated:Sunan Ibn Majah 1412Hasan (Darussalam) Meaning: he goes out from his home intending, so if he goes out from his home intending on the day of Jumu'ah, or other than Jumu'ah, and prays in it; he obtains this reward, and praise be to Allah. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
