Signs of the Day of Resurrection, the Minor and the Major

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Among the questions from the questioner Abu 'Abd al-Rahman from Riyadh, he sent a collection of questions so that we may review some of them in this session. He asks: Does the Day of Resurrection have minor signs before it occurs? What are they? May you be rewarded.

Answer:
It has signs. The Day of Resurrection has minor signs, many of which have already occurred, such as what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the hadith of Jibril:
Then tell me about its signs. He replied : That a maidservant should beget her mistress, and that you should see barefooted, naked, poor men and shepherds exalting themselves in buildings.أخبرني عن أماراتها؟ قال: أن تلد الأمة ربتها، وأن ترى الحافة العراة العالة يتطاولون في البنيان
Sunan Abi Dawud 4695Sahih (Al-Albani)
And this has occurred. Likewise, the prevalence of evil and the scarcity of good are among the signs of the Hour, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
No year will come but the one after it will be worse until you meet your Lord.لا يأتي عام إلا والذي بعده شر منه حتى تلقوا ربكم
Sahih Ibn Hibban 51:19
Also, the emergence of open immorality, the drinking of intoxicants, and the prevalence of usury or interest are all among its signs. The minor signs include the estrangement of Islam, meaning the scarcity of its people.
As for its major signs, they have not yet occurred. The major signs are: the emergence of the Mahdi, the emergence of the Dajjal, the descent of Jesus, son of Mary, the emergence of Gog and Magog, the sun rising from the west, the removal of the Qur'an, and the emergence of the beast. Yes, we ask Allah for safety. Yes.

The presenter: O Allah, amen. Thank you, O Shaykh, and may Allah bless you, your knowledge, and benefit the Muslims through you.
