Ruling on eating some parts of the slaughtered animal without cooking

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The listener Nasser Hasan Awadh sent a message containing seven questions. In his first question, he asks: What is the ruling on eating the kidneys of sheep with their blood, without cooking or anything else?

Answer:
The forbidden blood is the poured-out blood that flows from the throat of the slaughtered animal when it is slaughtered. As for the blood that remains in the kidneys and inside the meat, there is no harm in eating it raw or roasted. However, cooking and roasting it is better. If one eats some of it raw and no harm results from it, there is nothing wrong with it. But if the experts and doctors say that it harms him if he eats any of it raw, he should avoid it because of the harm. If eating it raw does not harm him, whether it is liver, kidney, or otherwise, there is no blame on him, because it is permissible. Cooking and roasting it only makes it more appetizing and improves its taste. So if there is something from it that would not harm him if eaten raw, there is no blame on him.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good. What about the rest of the meat, for example?

The Shaykh: All the meat, all the meat.

The presenter: All the meat.

The Shaykh: Yes, there is nothing wrong with eating from camels, cows, sheep, or game; but it is more complete, better, and safer from liability if it is cooked or roasted. However, if it happens that some people eat something raw and there is no harm in it according to the experts, there is no blame on them.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
