What is the ruling on the slaughter of one who abandons prayer, even if out of laziness?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 9638 )
Q 9: We have a relative who, when he visits us, prays, but sometimes he misses some of the prayers, and he says, according to his words, that he makes them up. However, some of the brothers refuse to eat the meat he slaughters, claiming that his slaughter is not permissible. After that, he became angry with them, and discord arose between them, leading to animosity. He says: If the slaughter of the Jews is lawful for Muslims, how do you forbid my slaughter, when I pray and fast, and I am not one who denies prayer or any of the matters of religion? My question: Is it permissible to eat the meat of him and those like him in this case ? And is it permissible to contact him and eat and drink with him?
A 1 : If the matter is as mentioned, regarding his performing the prayer and making up what he missed
of them, there is no harm in eating from his slaughter and eating with him from his food and drink. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
