The Ruling on the Prayer of a Person Standing Alone Behind the Rows

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on the prayer of a person standing alone behind the rows?

Answer:
It is not valid; because of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
The prayer of a person who prays alone behind the row is not accepted.لا صلاة لمنفرد خلف الصف
Bulugh al-Maram 2:327
, and because he saw a man praying alone behind the rows and ordered him to repeat the prayer, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him. He did not ask him what he had said, or whether he had found a gap or not; he ordered him to repeat it to block the door. So no one is to stand in a row behind the rows; rather, if he does not find a gap, he should wait, or move forward with the imam if it is possible, and pray to the right of the imam, or be patient until he finds a gap, or until someone comes to pray with him. If the prayer ends, he prays alone.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
