Ruling on praying in a garment containing images

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The first message in this episode is from one of the female listeners, the sender (H. A. A). Our sister asks in one of her questions, saying: Is it permissible for a woman to pray in a garment that has images on it? We ask for clarification on this issue and for your benefit with good. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow his guidance. As for what follows:
The authentic hadiths from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) indicate the prohibition of image-making and the cursing of those who make images. When he saw a curtain with images on it at the house of 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her), he tore it and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) became angry and said:
The makers of these images will be punished on the Day of Resurrection, and it will be said to them: 'Bring to life that which you have created.'يا عائشة إن أصحاب هذه الصور يعذبون يوم القيامة ويقال: أحيوا ما خلقتم
Sunan an-Nasa'i 5362Sahih (Darussalam)
.
It is not permissible for a woman to pray in a garment that has images on it, whether the images are of human beings or other animals. However, if she prays, the prayer is valid despite the sin. The correct view is that the prayer is valid but with the sin. She does not repeat the prayer, but she must repent to Allah and not return to praying in a garment with images, whether in a shirt, a blouse, trousers, or a head covering. It is obligatory to abandon that.
Likewise, a man does not pray in a garment that has images on it, whether a shirt, a blouse, a head covering, trousers, or a coat. It is obligatory to abandon that; because this is greater than the curtain on the wall. We ask Allah for safety. Yes.

The presenter: O Allah, amen. May Allah reward you with good.
