The ruling on using perfume and agarwood for the fasting person

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Does perfume or agarwood break the fast of the fasting person?

Answer:
Perfume does not break the fast of the fasting person, if he applies it to his clothes and his face. However, incense should be avoided; he should not sniff it. This is because some scholars held that sniffing it breaks the fast. Therefore, he should not sniff incense, as it has particles that enter the brain and go to the stomach. He should not sniff it, and if he does sniff it, he should make up the fast.
As for the type of ordinary perfume... the liquid kind, whether placed in his nose, on his beard, on his head covering, or the like, there is nothing wrong with it. Agarwood oil, rose oil, there is no harm. Yes.
