The Ruling on Delaying Zakah and Advancing It

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He says: Until what time can the payment of zakah be delayed due to an excuse, and is it possible to advance it, and when?

Answer:
One who has an excuse pays the zakah when the excuse is present. For example, if the zakah becomes due in Ramadan and he has no money, then Allah makes the money easy for him in Shawwal, or in Dhul Qa'dah, he pays out the zakah. Or if it is in his camels or sheep, and he does not have the nisab, he does not have the obligatory zakah, he seeks it and looks for it here and there. When he finds it, he pays it out. He hands it to the collectors if the collectors come to him, or otherwise he gives it as charity.
The point is: when he finds the zakah, he should hasten to pay it. It is incumbent upon him to strive to obtain it from the time of its return, so that it becomes obligatory from the time the lunar year is completed. He strives and exerts himself until he obtains the obligatory amount and pays it out, and he does not be lax. If he advances it, there is no harm. If he advances the zakah before its time, and the nisab is present, and he advances the zakah, there is no harm, there is no blame in that.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
