Guidance for those who incense the women’s prayer areas in the mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Some women, Your Eminence, bring an incense burner and incense to the mosque for the tarawih prayer in Ramadan, and then they incense the mosque and the women praying there. What is your guidance for them regarding this?
May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
They should not do this; because after the prayer they go out to the markets, and they have perfume with them, so they should leave that off; so that there is no fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) by their going out perfumed from the mosque when the people are leaving, but they pray with the people without going out with perfume, neither when coming nor when leaving; acting in accordance with the authentic hadiths in that matter, yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
