The ruling on a man marrying a woman whose sister was breastfed by his mother

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was received for the program from the listener Ismail Muhammad. The brother Ismail has a somewhat lengthy question in which he says: I am a man who married a woman many years ago. This wife of mine had a sister who married a man and bore him a son. Her husband divorced her, and after he divorced her, my brother married her and bore a daughter from her. Exactly one week later, my wife also gave birth to a daughter. So, breastfeeding was exchanged between my daughter and my sister’s daughter; my daughter was breastfed by her maternal aunt, and vice versa. The breastfeeding continued for five months. At that time, the boy I mentioned to you earlier was six years old. Now, after many years have passed, this boy has proposed to marry my daughter, who is six years younger than the sister who was breastfed. My only goal in raising this issue is: Is it permissible for my daughter to marry this young man? Please note that my daughter was not breastfed by her maternal aunt, and he was not breastfed either?

Answer:
There is no harm in that, if the reality is as you described; there is no harm in that; because breastfeeding is specific to the one who was breastfed. The one who was breastfed by his mother is his sister, and she is not permissible for him. As for her sisters who were not breastfed by his mother, and he was not breastfed by your wife; there is no harm in that. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
