The ruling on a woman receiving guests and honoring them

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was sent from Bisha by one of the female listeners, (A. A. S.), from the Wadi Bisha area. She says: There are women in our area, and we are Bedouin, and guests come to these women. The woman honors the guests if her husband is absent or deceased, or if she is divorced, and there is—praise be to Allah—no doubt or suspicion. Is there any issue with this? And how do you guide the people? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If the matter contains no suspicion and no seclusion, there is no harm in her serving them hospitality. She should be covered, modest in her face, hands, and body, and serve them. She can say to them: "Take the coffee, take this, have your coffee, do this... eat." She serves them food, and they take it, and praise be to Allah.
As for if it is one man, she does not seclude herself with him; she makes an excuse and says: "I have no one with me, so excuse me, my brother!" Likewise, if there is suspicion, and she fears suspicion, she makes an excuse to them, even if there is more than one man, if she fears being accused of evil. She makes an excuse to them and says: "Excuse me; the master of the house is not present. If Allah wills, you can visit him at such a time, or at such a time." But if it is a known gathering among them, with no accusation or evil, she serves them the appropriate hospitality, with covering, modesty, and kind speech, and praise be to Allah. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
