Ruling on accepting a gift from one who does not pray and openly commits sins

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
She has a question similar in meaning to the first one, saying: If a person gives me food as a gift, whether that person is a neighbor, a relative, or a friend, and he does not pray, does not fast, and drinks intoxicants, is it permissible to accept his gift?

Answer:
This requires a detailed explanation: If accepting it is expected to bring good, and that Allah will guide him, and he will accept the advice from the one to whom it is given, and be affected by it, then there is no harm in accepting it. However, if it contains meat, no, do not eat the meat if he does not pray, unless it is fruit or something that does not require slaughter, such as fruit or something like fruit, then there is no harm.
As for if he is stubborn, and no good is expected from him, do not accept his gift, boycott him, and do not accept his gift, perhaps Allah will guide him. Do not accept his gift, do not accept his invitation, and do not visit him. Rather, he deserves to be boycotted for his abandonment of prayer, and his open drinking of intoxicants, and his apparent sins. This is what he deserves to be boycotted for, perhaps he will repent, and Allah will accept his repentance.
As for if there is a legitimate Shari'ah benefit in accepting his gift, or in visiting him for the purpose of calling to Allah, directing him to good, and forbidding him from what is wrong, perhaps Allah will guide him through your means, then there is no harm, yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
