Warning Against Cursing One's Children

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner says: “O His Eminence the Shaykh, this mother who is asking: If a person curses his children, will the supplication be answered?”

Answer:
He is in danger. He should not curse them. He should supplicate for good. If he becomes angry with his children, he should not curse them except with good. He should fear Allah so that his supplication does not coincide with a time when supplications are answered. The believer should seek out good supplication. If he becomes angry with his children, he should supplicate for their guidance and righteousness, not curse them. This is what he should do; he should seek out good. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you and bless you.
