The Sunnah of placing the knees before the hands when going down into prostration

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was sent from Iraq by the listener Hamid Yunis Ibrahim from Mosul. He says: When bowing, is it more correct to place the hands first or the knees first, or is it the other way around? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
The most correct and best practice is to place the knees first. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would place his knees and then his hands (peace and blessings be upon him). He forbade prostrating like the prostration of a camel. When a camel prostrates, it places its hands first. So the Sunnah is to place your knees first, not your hands. In reality, the hadiths are in agreement, not in disagreement. They describe prostrating on the knees, then the hands, then the forehead and nose. And when rising, one raises the head, then the hands, then the knees. Yes, this is the stronger and better position. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
