Ruling on Reciting the Tashahhud in the Prostration for Forgetfulness

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
السؤال:
Is it prescribed to recite the tashahhud in the prostration for forgetfulness?
Answer:
There is no tashahhud in it; it is only two prostrations without a tashahhud. If one forgets, he prostrates twice, and there is no tashahhud in them. If he prostrates them before the taslim, there is nothing wrong with it, or if he prostrates them after the taslim, there is nothing wrong with it. But the better option is for the prostration to be before the taslim, except in two cases:
The first is: if he says the taslim while something is missing, and then he realizes it, or he is reminded, he completes it, and it is better for his prostration to be after the taslim.
The second case is: if he proceeds based on his predominant suspicion; because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the one who forgets to seek the truth, to complete it, then to say the taslim, then to prostrate the two prostrations. So if he proceeds based on his predominant suspicion, and completes it, he says the taslim, then prostrates the two prostrations of forgetfulness, and there is no tashahhud in them. The rest are all before the taslim: two prostrations before he says the taslim in cases of forgetfulness other than these. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you, O Shaykh.
