The Intended Meaning of the People of the Interregnum

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner, who did not mention his name in this letter, says: Your Eminence! Who are the people of the interregnum? And is it true that there are some of them now? Knowing that some say that they are in areas of the world living in isolation from the outside world, such as the jungles of Africa, the forests of China, and so on, Your Eminence.

Answer:
The people of the interregnum are those to whom the message did not reach; these are the people of the interregnum. They did not hear of the Qur'an, nor of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). These are called the people of the interregnum. As for the one to whom the Qur'an reached, or to whom the news of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) reached—that Allah sent him to the people to call them—and he did not care, he is not among the people of the interregnum. But the one to whom that did not reach is called one of the people of the interregnum.
The correct view regarding them is that they will be tested on the Day of Resurrection. Allah will test them on the Day of Resurrection, so whoever responds will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys will enter the Fire. Yes, we ask Allah for well-being.

The presenter: O Allah, amen. May Allah reward you with good.
