The Meaning of the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) Saying: “That a slave woman gives birth to her master”

Finally, he asks about the signs of the Hour and says: The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) specified some of them for us and said regarding them: , so what is the meaning of this phrase?

Answer:
The signs of the Hour are numerous, but they are of two types: a general type that occurred in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and after him, and a specific type that occurs when the Hour is near and approaching. As for the general type, this Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is among the signs of the Hour; our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the Prophet of the Hour, and his existence is among its signs, peace and blessings be upon him. Likewise, what he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: , means: her mistress, and in the other wording: means: her master. The meaning of this is that slave women and concubines will become numerous. If a slave woman becomes pregnant by her master, who is her owner, then the daughter born will be a mistress, a lady, and the son born will be a master for her, a lord for her. This is the meaning of the hadith, meaning that concubines will become numerous, slave women will increase, and people will have many concubines due to the increase in jihad and war spoils, so concubines will become numerous among people. The master has intercourse with his slave woman because she is his property and lawful for him, as the Exalted said: [Al-Mu’minun: 5-6]. The ownership of the slave woman is called "ownership of the right hand" (milk al-yamin). If he owns her through war spoils, purchase, or inheritance, he may have intercourse with her, and she is "owned by the right hand." When she gives birth, if the child is a boy, he is called her master and lord, and if the child is a girl, she is called her mistress and lady. This is the meaning of the hadith: , meaning: her mistress; because the daughter of a master is a lady, and the son of a master is a lord to his mother in meaning. The meaning is that concubines will become numerous among people, and this is among the signs of the Hour: the increase of concubines, slave women, and births.
And from this is the hadith: , so this is also among its general signs: the Arabs extending their buildings in height after they were people of tents. They built structures and made them tall. This is among the signs of the Hour, and this has occurred. The Arabs became urban, fought in jihad, built structures, and developed buildings.
As for the specific signs that are near to it, the hadiths have explained them, and they are ten signs:

The first: The Mahdi, a man from the People of the House (Ahl al-Bayt) in the end of time who will rule the world, rule the earth, and fill it with justice after it has been filled with injustice. He is from the People of the House, from the Banu Hashim, from the descendants of Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her). Many hadiths have come regarding him.

The second: The Dajjal, the emergence of the Dajjal in the end of time, claiming to be a Prophet, then claiming to be the Lord of the worlds. The hadiths regarding him are authentic and mass-transmitted from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

And the third: The descent of the Messiah, the son of Mary, from the sky. Isa, the son of Mary (peace and blessings be upon him), will kill the Dajjal, and great good will be achieved for the community through him, and Allah will bring out His blessings in this earth through him, peace and blessings be upon him. He will not accept anything but Islam, and Allah will destroy the religions in his time so that nothing remains but Islam. Judaism, Christianity, Communism, and others will disappear, and nothing will remain but Islam in his time, peace and blessings be upon him.

And the fourth: The emergence of Gog and Magog from the east, and they will pour out from every height. This will be in the time of Isa (peace be upon him), and then Allah will kill them, Allah will cause them to die after that.
Then after that: the sign of the smoke, the demolition of the Ka'bah, and the lifting of the Mushaf, the lifting of the Qur'an from the earth, from the chests, and from the written copies. Then the emergence of the Dabbah, the beast of the earth, and the rising of the sun from its west. When it rises, repentance will not be accepted from anyone after that.

And the last of them: A fire that will gather people to their gathering place.
These are called the specific signs that are near to the establishment of the Hour. The hadiths have brought them, and the scholars have explained them. Yes.
