Is "al-Sayyid" among the names of Allah? And the ruling on saying it to humans

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is "al-Sayyid" established as one of the names of Allah?

Answer:
It came in the authentic hadith that when they said to him (peace and blessings be upon him): "You are our master," he said:
The Master is Allah, Blessed and Exalted is Heالسيد الله تبارك تعالى
meaning: the leader, meaning: the perfect one.
Q: Is it the same whether the word is "sayyid" or "sayyidi"?
A: "Sayyidi" is not said, but "sayyid" is not objected to: "sayyid of the sons of so-and-so," just as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said about al-Hasan:
Indeed, this son of mine is a chiefإنَّ ابني هذا سيِّد
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3773Sahih (Darussalam)
, but the definite form "al-Sayyid" is to be avoided, because when it was said: O Messenger of Allah, you are our master, he said:
The lord is Allah, the Blessed and Exaltedالسيد الله تبارك وتعالى
Sunan Abi Dawud 4806Sahih (Al-Albani)
, but if one says: sayyid of the Banu Jumuh, sayyid of the Banu 'Adnan, sayyid of 'Atban, sayyid of al-Hibtan, just as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the Ansar:
Stand up to your masterقوموا إلى سيِّدكم
meaning: Sa'd ibn Mu'adh, with the addition, or a restricted sayyid: sayyid of Jahina, sayyid of Quraysh.
